1969- Corvallis High School

 One year as Offensive Coordinator at Corvallis High School in Valley League

First year offensive coordinator at Corvallis High School on Varsity level  with ex-professional Canadian Paul Seale from the BC Lions. Paul was head coach of the Spartans.

   Mitchell was privileged to Coach Mike Riley who later became the Head Coach at Oregon

    State and then the University of Nebraska
